M.A.C. Taraji P. Henson Viva Glam Lipstick Is Coming Soon

One of my first M.A.C. purchases was the Lady Gaga Viva Glam lipstick. My next one, well after I get the new Strobe Creams, will be the Taraji P. Henson Viva Glam lip gloss. Once I got to the end of the Lady Gaga tube, I made it a tradition to get the one of newest Viva Glam lip products every year. Now, I can have one with my favorite actress's signature on it. M.A.C. just announced that the newest faces of its Viva Glam campaign are Taraji P. Henson and her Empire co-star Jussie Smollett. As usual, the company will launch a special-edition lipstick and lip gloss with the celeb's signature on the tube, and every cent from the sales will go towards helping women, men, and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The campaign has been running since 1994 with RuPaul as the first face. So yes, that means the ever-so-handsome Smollett isn't the first man to lend his face to M.A.C. for a good cause. He joins others including Ricky Martin and Boy George.

This is the second time M.A.C. has teamed up with Henson. This summer, they released a collection together complete with nude shades to give you a major glow. The new Taraji P. Henson Viva Glam shade, however, is a bit more bold. This new shimmery fuchsia is the ultimate Cookie Lyon lip color. Sadly, we'll all have to wait until February 2017 to get our hands on the M.A.C. Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass, but it looks worth the wait.
