Chloë Grace Moretz Reacts to Doppelgänger in the Philippines

Imagine that you're hungry (always), so you walk into a nearby fast food restaurant and Chloë Grace Moretz casually takes your order. Earlier this week, this was (almost) a reality for one lucky college student.

Wait, what?

Of course, we would guess that Moretz is currently in Los Angeles, since she attended the TrevorLIVE Los Angeles 2016 fundraiser there on Sunday. So she couldn't possibly also be in the Philippines... right? Well, one Facebook photo is seriously making the Internet believe in time travel, as Buzzfeed points out, because we swear we saw Chloë Grace Moretz working the counter at popular Filipino fast-food chain, Jollibee.

The person who spotted Moretz (or should we say, Moretz's doppelgänger) posted a photo to Facebook, where it quickly had the internet buzzing. Though it wasn't the ACTUAL celebrity, people were shocked by how similar the worker looked to the celeb, Buzzfeed reports.

One Twitter user was able to track down her identity. Turns out that in addition to moonlighting as Moretz, Edcell Ched is also a student at the City of Malabon University in the Philippines and a worker at Jollibee.

It wasn't long before Moretz herself was shocked by the similarities. Because, let's face it, Edcell Ched really does look just like the actress.

Her amazement even merited a second tweet, just seconds later.

"Whoa whoa" is right.

So yes, even Moretz thinks that Edcell Ched looks just like her (even though the fourth photo is an actual face swap with the actress). Edcell was obviously thrilled that Moretz noticed her, saying that the actress's response was #legit.

With an official Chloë Grace Moretz stamp of approval, Ched will undoubtedly go on fooling Jollibee patrons (and the Internet) for a long time.

It's always a mind-blowing moment when a celebrity meets their look-alike, like when Adele brought her doppelgänger on stage at a concert or when Zac Efron met his at the Olympics this past summer. For now we can only hope that one magical day Chloë Grace Moretz and Edcell Ched will meet IRL and the time-space continuum will shatter.
