Why Nutella is The Perfect Ingredient for Chocolate Mauve Hair

We’ve all had that moment when we stare at Nutella and think, OMG I could bathe in this (or, wine because really). There’s no doubt in my mind that chocolate cures many problems (we already know it’s been linked to a lower B.M.I and can protect your cardiovascular system), but one hairstylist applied Nutella on her client's hair, ultimately taking the chocolate mauve trend to new heights.

If you don’t know about Nutella you’re missing out. It's a chocolate-infused hazelnut spread that can be spread over pancakes, toast, fruit, or simply eaten alone. It’s just that good. But, never did I imagine it would be used on hair.

It all went down at Abed & Samer salon in the United Arab Emirates where a stylist mixed Nutella with condensed milk to create a chocolatey-brown color. And, who better to try the look on than beauty blogger, Huda Kattan. Thankfully Kattan captured it all on Instagram, because we have loads of questions.

“???????????????????????? I can’t believe this!! Hair coloring using Nutella by @abedallahitani Nice results, who would try this? #hudabeauty,” Kattan captioned.

So here’s the deal. First, you apply Nutella in areas where you’d like a deeper color, then you drizzle condensed milk over the chocolate, then place folds of foil over the entire head. The entire process probably smells like you’re creating a tasty chocolate dessert. Which isn't a bad scent to have in your hair, right?

From the looks of things, the chocolate application actually worked. Sounds like like we'll be trying chocolate on our hair this holiday. Will you?
