Sometimes, it can be hard to feel good about your body — especially when scrolling through Instagram and seeing highly edited pictures of people living their best lives. However, a few body positivity heroes are trying to change the way our feeds look by injecting a bit of realness into what we see when we scroll through the app, and that's pretty amazing. The latest of these body positivity heroes is plus-size model Lucija Lugomer of Croatia, who recently posted a photo that's essentially a love letter to her stretch marks. Raise your hand if you can relate.
In her post, Lugomer can be seen pulling up the side of her shorts to reveal stretch marks on her hips. She writes about the struggle many women often feel with their bodies in the caption, saying, "Every time you look in the mirror, every time you see an image of someone who you look up to, of someone who doesn't look like you. You think you're not good enough. And that's really sad. Because your body is your HOME! ...it's not holding you back from anything! The only thing that's holding you back is believing that something is wrong with you."

While it's true that many things contribute to the feelings we have about ourselves other than simply our own belief that something is wrong with us (like beauty standards upheld by society, for example), her message is still great. We only get one body while we're here on Earth, and it's a great goal to try to love the skin you live in.
