Beyoncé Lookalike Says She Gets Chased by Fans (Photos)

Beyoncé fans in Michigan probably thought they hit the jackpot when they saw Brittany Williams out and about. Why? Because the Detroit resident looks so much like Queen Bey, it's actually scary (and making me insanely jealous, BTW). She's even managed to fool the Beyhive: Brittany told the Daily Mail that she's "constantly" approached for pictures and has even been chased by superfans desperate for a selfie with the Lemonade singer.

"I get approached all the time; whether it be on planes, at the airport, or while attending events. I've also been chased, had pictures taken of me without my consent, and pranks done without me knowing," she said. "A group of women once chased me and my friend to our car and began singing 'Single Ladies,' beating my friend's car with the heels of their shoes, until we rolled down the window and took a picture with them." She added, "Most people are generally friendly, though, and just want a picture. They often say I look like a younger version of Beyoncé." A quick note: Whether somebody is a huge celebrity or their spot-on doppelgänger, it's never okay to harass them to the point where they feel like they have to take a photo with you. Always be respectful of others' privacy and personal space.

Brittany told the Daily Mail that although the constant comparisons to Beyoncé used to bother her, she's learned to embrace the things she has in common with the star. "We both have Southern roots. My parents and her parents look like they could be related," she said. "She sings, dances, writes, and I am gifted in the same ways. We're both strong, dominant women, fearless, and God-fearing." She continued, "We're simply blessed to have a woman with such grace, humility, loyalty, talent, and work ethic to exist in our time. She's the example of what men should seek, and girls should become."

And while Brittany occasionally re-creates some of Bey's best music video looks and Instagram posts for her own account, she said that, in her day-to-day life, she rarely plays up her Beyoncé-like features. "I'm a minimalist. I'm very basic with makeup, which I tend to wear mostly on weekends, mainly to enhance features of my high cheekbones — I'm part Native American — and to pronounce my nose," she said. "I tend not to wear makeup as I don't care for the [regimen] for going to work." Brittany added, "I'm just a cool, stylish, smart, witty girl with a vision, confidence, and ambition. I'm still dreaming that God will allow my visions to come to fruition. He has blessed me so much."
