Guys, it seems like the sternum is the hottest accessory on the AMAs 2016 red carpet and I gotta say, we're not mad. As we've taken in the all the various fashion, makeup and hair looks on red carpet, we saw a slew of different trends, including braids, nude lips and and lots and lots of glitter. But the one accessory that remained consistent was the showing of skin—in the form of the deep, deep necklines. But while we've seen lots of cleavage, butt cracks and backs on the red carpet, the sternum is the hottest accessory on the AMAs 2016 red carpet.

We know, we know—the sternum, that long flat bone shaped like a necktie located in the center of the chest. The clavicle, the chest bone that's garnered a lot of attention recently, is taking a backseat—in favor of a deeper, plunging neckline to showcase the apparently chic AF sternum. Tonight, we've seen stars including Hailee Steinfeld, Kat Graham and Lady Gaga (who will be performing at the Victoria's Secret Show next month in Paris, alongside AMA host and December cover girl Gigi Hadid).
